A/N: Inspired after seeing Shori & Kaoru bumping into each other multiple times on Shokura. & Happy Birthday yatsuiko_chan ♥


 A side-step was taken, and to the audience it was obvious that the distance between Shori and Kaoru was closer, compared to the gap between Sou and Shori. Limbs bumped into each other in the midst of the performance, yet both of them didn’t seem to mind at all. Shori’s hand extended out, quickly moving to the side, and while doing so, he seems to be guiding the younger boy who seems to be out of the mood during their performance of ‘With You’.

There were a few more guiding gestures Shori had done secretly in front of the camera for Kaoru during that performance. And somehow, the distance between them would always be a little smaller compared to the other juniors on stage.

Shining spotlights and screaming fans, both of them managed to form a bond that held them together. “Shori-kun!” Kaoru would always shout when he spots the older in the corridor.

One would also be able to see Sou sitting at the side awkwardly as Shori and Kaoru seem to be sticking together during Shonen Club.


One thing Shori would want to change would be the moment where the debut was announced. Kaoru had looked at him in disbelief, muttered a congratulations before wondering off to his bag to pick his phone out. He had not gotten the chance to speak to the younger at that time, since he was pulled away by their dance instructor.

In the middle of all the last minute cram session for their dance, Shori spotted a few tears flowing down Kaoru’s chubby cheeks while being on the phone. It had hurt him even more when they decided to pull the younger boy to back-dance for their group.


That was the message he had received and somehow, Shori reminded himself again to keep Kaoru close. He’s unwilling to let the distance between them grow just because of stardom and fame.
