Everything seems to have came to a stand-still. Their eyes met, and foreign images flashed passed before their eyes.

Memories.

"Ryoko! You're going to be late!" Sitting up quickly, she stumbled out of her bed and rushed to the bathroom. It was her first day of high school, and  she definitely doesn't want to be late for it. Taking her ribbon, she tied it onto her uniform, before combing her long black hair.

It had reached the middle of her back, and fluttered behind her as she ran to school. She is Yamada Ryoko. A shy person, but when she opens up, you wouldn't be able to count all the stupid and funny things she does.

A bright smile was always on her face. So innocent that it makes your heart flutter at one look.

Not looking where she was headed, Ryoko had accidentally bumped into a person, thus falling down. A hand was offered, and she gladly took it. As she looked up, everything came to a stand-still, as images flashed through her mind.

"Nakajima Yuto ...?"

The boy in front of her had looked at her in shock. "Yamada ..." He whispered out, as Ryoko slowly stood up. "Yamada Ryoko." Her wide smile as she introduced herself made Yuto's heard skip a beat.

"How did you know my name?" Yuto returned a grin as Ryoko just shrugged. At the back of his mind, he thought about those images that had flashed passed previously.

It was definitely him there. He was embracing another boy, who eerily looked like the girl standing in front of him. His name?

Yamada Ryosuke.

Realising that they were going to the same school, both of them decided to walk there together. Ryoko wondered about those unfamiliar images that she saw earlier.

This Nakajima Yuto was there. But Ryoko could swear that it was the first time seeing him.

What was going on exactly?

At the entrance, both of them approached the notice board to find which class they are allocated to. Looking at the board, Ryoko spotted her name in Class 1-D. "Yama-chan, which class are you in?" For some reasons, that nickname made her heart felt so warm.

"1-D. What about you, Yuto-kun?" It had just slipped out naturally. Ryoko had intended to call him 'Nakajima-san', but ...

"Looks like we're in the same class!"

'Yama-chan?' Where had that come from? The nickname had just rolled over his tongue when he saw Ryoko. And when Ryoko called him 'Yuto-kun', that fuzzy feeling in his chest was overwhelming. Something tells him that both of them knew each other.

But how? It was Yuto's first time meeting her.

He had only on valid explanation but it was definitely absurd. The only possibility was that they knew each other in their last life.
