Opening the door as she wore her shoe, Riko looked up and started to shout. Who would have expected Nakajima Yuto and Yamada Ryosuke standing outside her apartment at 7 in the morning? Definately not Riko.

Both boys had quickly covered the younger girl's mouth, so that the neighbors wouldn't be disturbed. "Takasugi! Chill." Yuto patted the younger girl's head as he laughed at her reaction.

"Both of you gave me a scare! You could at least cal me that you're coming with your boyfriend, Yama-chan!" Glaring at the older boy, she pouted while locking the door.

When they entered the room, Aiko and Chinen was already there. "Ahh? Did all of you meet somewhere and came to school together?" Chinen was the one who spoke up, and Aiko looked at Riko with a questioning look.

"No. Both of them decided to scared the wits out of me by appearing at my doorstep." Slumping onto her table, Riko buried her head into her bag. She could feel that half of her life has disappeared because of the YamaJima pair.

When roll call was finished, the teacher smiled and announced. "Today we have a new student, let's welcome him!" As signaled, the door slide open to reveal a boy. He was tall, probably Yuto's height, and did have Yuto's built. A black framed specs was worn and his hair was cropped short.

Aiko opened her mouth a little, and Riko just stared at her friend's weird facial expression.

"I'm Kusaka Hayato. I'm 16 this year, and nice to meet all of you."

Extending her hand, Riko helped Aiko to close her mouth. "The fly will enter if you continue to stare like this, Aiko-chan~." Aiko opened her mouth to retort back, but was cut of by the new transfer student.

"R-riko?" Hearing her name, she turned back and stare at the transfer student. The words that came out of her mouth had shocked Hayato and Aiko.

"Do I know you?"

Looking into those big innocent eyes, Hayato knew that Riko wasn't acting. Did he made the wrong move to appear in front of her again?

Does she know that he had been looking at her for the past few days?

"Ri-chan, do you know him? He called you by your first name!" Ryosuke leaned forward to whisper into Riko's ears, and Yuto who was beside Ryosuke was also looking forward to her answer. Chinen who was in front of Aiko had also turned back.

"No, I don't know who is he."

Looking at Hayato, Aiko mouthed to him. 'Meet me outside the classroom later.'

"Why doesn't Riko remember me?" Hayato leaned against the roll of lockers, with Aiko by his side. He had heard Aiko laugh a little and a bitter smile surfaced. "I would like to know myself. It might be because of the accident."

The bang of the lockers could be heard and the students walking pass turned to see what had happened. "What accident?" His fist was clenched, and a frown was etched onto his face.

Slowly Aiko explained to the boy what had happened. How she tried to commit suicide and how Riko saved her. "When did it happen?" It came out as a mere whisper from the boy's mouth.

Looking into the classroom, Aiko saw Riko happily chatting with the three JUMP members.
"16 December last year."

The next sentence that the boy uttered out had made Aiko punch him on the face, rage evident in his eyes. Riko had ran out of the classroom to restrict her friend, as it was the first time she saw Aiko hitting someone this hard to make him bleed.

Turning her the older girl around, Riko saw tears in Aiko's eyes, and Aiko had hugged her tightly. What Hayato had said continued to echo in her mind.

"It was the day when I broke up with her."
