How long has it been since they were in high school? Aiko looked up into the sky and gazed at the clouds floating pass slowly. A small smile tugged on her lips as she saw Chinen approaching her.

It has been 3 years since Aiko first came to Japan. 3 years after finding out about Riko's condition. 3 years since Riko last contacted her.

An arm slung over her shoulder and a soft peck was planted on her cheek. "Sorry for being late Aiko." Said girl only leaned against Chinen's frame, resting her head on the crook of the older boy's neck.

The necklace around her neck has been in place ever since she placed it on. Same with Chinen, Yuto and Ryosuke.

"I wonder how Riko is now."

"She'll be alright. Takasugi isn't that weak." Aiko just nodded at Chinen's statement. It's known that she's not the only one worried about her friend.

Somewhere in a hospital ward, a girl laid there, unmoving. Through the glass panel of the ward, a boy stood outside looking at the pale face of the unconscious girl. "Riko-chan, when are you going to wake up? I'm here because of you ... Wake up. It's been 3 years."

In a small apartment, Ryosuke laid in the strong embrace of Yuto. "Good morning Ryosuke." A chaste kiss was placed on the older boy's lips. Snuggling into the embrace, Ryosuke leaned up, catching Yuto's lips in another kiss.

In these 3 years, things happened and changed. The four of them entered the same university, majoring in different courses.

Ryosuke was now majoring in Arts while Yuto majored in Literature. As for Aiko, she was now majoring in Animation and Chinen majored in Sports.

The soft beeping sound in the ward got louder and louder. Soon, an alarm was rung, and waves of doctors and nurses rushed in. "Hurry! It's a cardiac arrest!" At that moment, everything happened in a rush. The boy outside the ward was still there, as he looked at what was happening in front of his eyes.

He didn't care anymore. Tears flowed down his cheeks and he screamed, collapsing onto the cold hard floor.

A chill went down her spine. Aiko just felt something bad has happened, and a tear just flowed down her cheek. "Chii, something's wrong."
