The festive lights started to shine, and Christmas carols could be heard. Walking down the street, Chinen had Aiko's hands interlaced with his. The meeting point was the big Christmas tree. Ryosuke and Yuto was there already, with the older boy leaning against Yuto's tall and lanky frame.

Sitting down on the bench, Aiko touched the charm that has always been around her neck ever since Riko left. Just a few more minutes. A few more minutes to midnight.

A few more minutes to Christmas.

Yuto had rested his forehead against Ryosuke's, and he could see the evident blush on Ryosuke's cheeks. When the gong sounded, they kissed. "Merry Christmas, Ryosuke."

"You too, Yuto."

A small peck was planted on Aiko's cheek, and when she turned around, she saw Chinen smiling at her, "Merry Christmas." She could only nod, and went into Chinen's warm embrace.

Just than, their phones rang, signaling to them that they have a message. All the message were the same, from the same person.

'Merry Christmas minna!
I bet Yama-chan and Yuto just kissed and Aiko is trying to hide her face by hugging Chinen!


I missed all of you.


Riko~'

What can they do? They just smiled, and Aiko replied to the message.

'Yes you're correct. Merry Christmas!
Please be well and come back. You'll get a beating from us. (grin)


You gave me the best gift for Christmas. For helping me and Chinen get together. We missed you.


Aiko, Chinen, Yama-chan & Yuto.'

The machines were beeping in the room, and Riko smiled at the message she just got from Japan. Tubes were stuck into her body, and an oxygen mask was over her nose. Her hair, once long, was now all gone.

Looking out of the window of her ward, she smiled. At least they are doing fine.

'All of you are my best gift. Thank you for all the memories in Japan.'
