Chapter 2: JUMP

<< Chapter 1
"Otsukare!" The eight grown-men collapsed ontot he cool floor of the dance studio. Age was catching up with them. A staff had came in, placing a plastic bag on the table.
"I brought some strawberries." Looking at the other members, all of them spotted a bitter smile on their lips. Even with these 17 years, they could never forget about the two glaring absence of their members.
As the oldest, yabu thanked the staff for the whole group, With the click of the door, their smiles faded. The whole of JUMP had entered their thirties, all of them still bachelors.
Ryutaro was the first to speak up. "If Yama-chan was still here, we wouldn't have our share of strawberry." A soft smile surfaced on Keito's lips as he continued what his boyfriend was thinking. "And Yuto would just feed Yama-chan his share, ne?"
The others had laughed a little. Although eight of them were there, the room felt empty and gloomy. "why did JUMP's mood maker become those two?" Hikaru shook his head, as Yabu slung and arm over his shoulder.
Picking up his and Ryutaro's bag, both of them excused themselves first. "Ah. They just had their teaching license right?" Chinen looked out of the window, into the night sky. He could feel a twinge in his heart.
As he rested his head on Takaki's shoulder, and watching Inoo and Daiki leaving, he thought, 'Something is going to happen.'
Dancing and performing on the stage was still the same. Their fans had continued to support them, even though JUMP and 7 had lost two of their members.
Lights flashed around, as the lyrics rolled out of their mouths naturally.
Ultra Music Power. Their debut song.
The dance seemed weird, Ryutaro thought for a moment, only to realise once again the two empty spots up front. Ryosuke and Yuto's position.
"This is the 20th anniversary of JUMP! Thank you for your constant support!" Yabu announced, as the eight of them bowed in the center stage.
Hikaru then stepped up, looking at Yabu with a smile. "We would like to dedicate this song for all of you, and our two missing members. Thank you for all these 'Memories'." The music started to play as they felt the stage rising.
They went separate ways half way thought eh song, to interact with their fans. Takaki ws waving and smiling at the audience, until two familiar faces were spotted.
He had stopped singing, as he continued to stare. Without realising, he uttered two names into his mic, and the whole concert was held in a freeze.
"Yama-chan? Yuto?"
He felt Inoo by his side, and a gasp was heard from the Meiji graduate. "U-so."
However, when the other members joined them, they spotted no one. Daiki had tried to lift up the tension as he said jokingly. "Both of you! You're missing them too much!"
All the others could do was to laugh it off, and continued with the concert on a awkward note.
