He knew his brother would murder him later when he gets back
home. However, Shintaro didn’t care less about his life for now, and he could
always hide behind his senpais, or hitch-hike over to Yuma’s at Osaka. This was
why the first thing after he stepped into the Jimusho was to run over to JUMP’s
dressing room, a grin constantly on his face.
-
The door was slammed open, and nine pairs of eyes look at a
panting Shintaro with curious eyes. The younger Morimoto has better manners
than Ryutaro, though they are probably of the same level when it comes to
pranks.
“Shin-chan, what is it?” It was Yabu that spoke up first, as
he approached the younger boy, pulling him into their dressing room. Shintaro
gladly took a sit, and properly thanking Hikaru, who had passed him a cup of
water.
It wasn’t usual for Shintaro to just bash into their
dressing room. The only reason he ever came would always be Ryutaro. And
technically, for the JUMP members, the younger Morimoto had no reason to pay
them a visit.
“I have something to tell all of you.”
For some reason, the atmosphere in the dressing room seem to
be chocking, and Shintaro heard Yamada whispering to timidly ask if anything
has happened to Ryutaro. It startled the younger boy a little, since he had
never encountered the confident Yamada to be so scared.
It was only now that he realized how close JUMP was. No
wonder Ryutaro had that weird sleeping habit nowadays.
“Don’t worry, nothing’s wrong with him, except the fact that
he’s listening to all of your voices to sleep at night.”
No one made a move, and the first one that broke the silence
was the loud outburst of laughter by Hikaru, followed by the rest of JUMP. Even
the usually polite Keito was laughing. As if on cue, Shintaro’s phone rang, and
picking it up, the whole dressing room was able to hear what the caller said,
since it was practically shouted into the phone.
“SHINTARO. IF YOU DARE COME BACK TONIGHT, I’M SKINNING YOU
ALIVE. YOU’VE TOLD THEM HAVEN’T YOU?” Shintaro didn’t even care about replying.
Instead, he switched it onto loudspeaker, and the JUMP members started to
casually talk, mentioning about how they missed Ryutaro.
-
On his side of the line, Ryutaro was sure that his brother
would go to the Jimusho and tell the whole of JUMP. When the call was picked
up, he had immediately shouted into the phone, embarrassed. It wasn’t in his
calculation to be hearing the rest of the members talking about him.
They were even talking about some event that he himself has forgotten.
All his anger and embarrassment was forgotten, as he sat on his bed, listening
to the voices that he had grown up with.
“Arigatou, minna.”
