His fingers grazed the black laptop, and Kento saw a bunch of codes on the screen. Riko calmly sipped on her hot chocolate, amused by Kento’s expression. “Don’t be so surprised. The intelligence of a Takasugi should never be underestimated.” The older boy just blinked, understanding a little. Only Riko was able to pass a University entrance exam in a time span of only waking up from her coma in a few hours time. 

“I’m in already. It didn’t even take ten minutes. You can do this yourself you know, Ri-nee.” Ichi rolled over to Riko’s bed, plopping down promptly. “I would’ve done it myself if I could. That person would know that I’m the one hacking in if I used my style.”

“So isn’t it time to explain something, nee-chan?”

“I’m hacking into Saito’s database.”

A grin appeared on Ichi’s lips, and his voice was chilly, “So it’s time already?”

Kento just stood still in a corner, thinking about what’s going to happen.

Hiroyuki opened the suitcase, in which contains a few bottles. Why would that person want to harm Riko in such a way? 

On the bottles, there were labels. In angry red, it reads, ‘Toxic’.

Her hand stopped moving on the laptop, and tears rolled down her cheeks. “K-Kento.” The older boy had quickly moved to her side, and realizing that Riko was crying, he half-hugged her and looked at the screen.

Kento could never forget what was written on the screen, and she knew how much it had hurt Riko to see it. “Kento, why?” She was brought deeper into his embrace, since that was the only thing that Kento could do.

Ichi was already beside, looking at the screen in shock. “How can he do such a thing?!” A book was thrown across the room.

In another place, a person smirked. “Don’t you dare hate me for this, Riko.”
