A/N: I just feel like writing TakaChii, since I've not wrote about them too long. And also, it's my first attempt to write in TakaBu too. There's also mentioned YamaJima, but nothing much.

‘You’re too far,’ Takaki thought as he took a sip out of his bottle. There he was the one he loved deeply. Chinen was just there, within his reach. The younger boy was chatting happily with Daiki and Yamada. Sighing, he thought back to the time where they were much younger.
He thought about the time when they were in Hey! Say! 7.
It was at that time where Chinen would happily jump in his direction, sitting on his lap. Takaki missed the little moments where the younger boy would come forward to him and demand him to play with him.
“Thinking about the past again?” Looking up, Takaki mustered a smirk at the oldest member of JUMP. Yabu settled beside Takaki on the sofa, watching Chinen prance over to Yuto, trying to talk the tall boy into playing with them too. “Takaki …”
“I know Yabu. Things change. People change too. I just love him; I can’t do anything about it.” Closing his eyes, Takaki took a deep breath.
He felt Yabu’s hands over his, and the next sentence came out as a mere whisper. “You can try to forget. You have me you know, Yuya?”
Opening his eyes, Takaki saw sincerity in Yabu’s eyes. He knows about how the other feels about him. But he can’t. Hands were pushed away, and he stood up.
“Sorry Yabu. You know very well that I can’t. I can’t forget about Chinen.”

From the side of his eyes, Chinen saw Yabu approaching Takaki at the sofa. A tug was felt in his heart, and forcing a smile, he went towards Yuto. “Yuto-kun.”
“It’s about Takaki right?”
Chinen just nodded. Yamada had sensed something happening and pulled Daiki towards his boyfriend and Chinen.
“Yabu-kun likes Yuyan right?” It wasn’t obvious, however Chinen wasn’t blind. He was still looking at Takaki, even if he acts like he isn’t. The three 7 members just looked at the only BEST member, who just nodded numbly.
A sigh escaped, and a smile formed on Chinen’s lips. However the three other members knew that it wasn’t a real smile. It was just a fake smile Chinen uses when he’s trying to get rid of the feeling to cry.
“If Yuyan’s happy with Yabu-kun, I wouldn’t interfere.”
However, Chinen didn’t see Takaki pushing Yabu away. His back was facing the pair, and missed out the rejection Yabu received from Takaki.
