The pattering of rain could be heard. Ryosuke could only look on at Yuto's dancing figure, since he hated the rain. Fluid movements of Yuto's limbs, filled with grace never stopped fascinating him. Even if he was the center of JUMP now, Yuto shone the most. In Ryosuke's opinion of course.
Well, Ryosuke knew very well that he's a bias source of course. He loves his friend after all, not that this said person knows anyway.
'He'd be scared away if he knew.' A bitter smile surfaced on Ryosuke's face as he continued to watch the younger boy practice.
He had started smiling as he heard the rain pattering against the window of the studio. Yuto loves the rain. It has a calming effect on him. From the corner of his eyes, he saw the older boy looking at him practice the moves for their up coming single.
It was silent in the studio. Not uncomfortable, just nostalgic. It has been a long time since it's Ryosuke waiting for Yuto to go home together.
But Yuto knows that Ryosuke would just use the excuse of hating the rain, instead of letting him know that he's waiting for him to finish practice and go home together.
Stopping, Yuto switched the player off before taking his shirt off, getting read to bathe before going back. "You're done?" Ryosuke's head was now hidden between his knees.
Yuto had just nodded his head, even though the older boy couldn't see it. "Un. Wait for a moment, I'll clean up a little."
When both of them stepped out of the Jimusho, it was still raining heavily. Holding up his umbrella, Yuto motioned for Ryosuke to join him under it. They just walked side by side, closer than usual, since Ryosuke wasn't keen on getting wet.
He had practically clung onto Yuto's arms. 'Well, at least something good is happening in the rain.'
"Yama-chan, you still hate the rain a usual ne?" A gentle smile grazed Yuto's lips, and it made Ryosuke's heart skip a beat. A blush crept up, and he felt his face heating up as he looked away, nodding.
He slung his hand over Ryosuke's shoulder, pulling the older boy nearer to him. "I think you're going to hate me doing this." With that, Yuto threw away his umbrella, and started to hug Ryosuke, twirling both of them around in circles.
Ryosuke's grip on Yuto's neck was tight, cheeks were touching cheeks. "YUTO! Stop! AHHHH!" When Yuto finally let him down, a huge grin was on his face, and both of the were drenched, hair sticking against their faces.
"What was that for?!" Ryosuke was still holding onto Yuto's clothes, tightly. He was still in Yuto's embrace, as Yuto's hands rested gently on Ryosuke's petite waist. "I love you."
It was sudden. Ryosuke had felt his world stop, and the warmth from Yuto's arm on his waist seems to be burning. "Ehh?" Yuto's lips had captured his own pair, and he swore he was melting into the kiss.
When they broke apart, a soft smile was on Yuto's lips. "I love you, Ryosuke." This time, Ryosuke just tip-toed and smashed their lips together again. "I love you too."
Now, Ryosuke have a very good reason to love the rain.
